Family is priceless

Beach photography is awesome. I don't know if it's the love that I have for the sand, or the serenity that I feel when I am there, but I love doing photo shoots at the beach. When Rachel messaged me and asked if I would be willing to travel down to Palm Gardens, I was so excited to not only see them again, but to do a beach session with her family. Rachel was one of my first clients when I started out. She has been with me through the good, bad, and ugly! I love this family more than words could say and I feel like they are my own kin. After I left this session and met the WHOLE family I felt like I was one of their family as well! Here are some pictures from their FABULOUS beach session in Palm Beach.

All American

This past week our family did something that we haven't done in 2 years...we went on vacation! Once you have kids its hard to plan out things and find time for a lot of things. So we decided (last minute) to take a vaca with just our little family. The kids had so much fun! Right before we left I tried a little photo shoot with my kids for my July family project. I missed June so I have to make up for it by doing two shoots this month. So here is a preview of the first. Happy belated Independence Day!

Capturing time

Last week I met up with one of my clients that I have known now for almost 2 years. When she contacted me for this session I was so excited to see how much Claire had grown. What I didn't realize was how much it truly would hit home for me. I took pictures of Claire when she was only a couple of weeks old. Claire and my baby girl are only a couple of months apart in age. When I finally got a chance to see her I was amazed at how much she had grown. I couldn't wait to chase her around and snap some shots of her in her true element. When the session was over and we were saying our goodbyes, I couldn't help but get a little emotional. I realized that 18 months had flown by in a blink of an eye. So here is my advice for today- take the time to capture special moments with your little ones. These are the moments that you will treasure forever.
